True story… our oven, hob and fridge went offline just as Chris was getting started with Christmas lunch. Of alllllll the days for this to happen, 12pm of 25th December apparently is the one!

The turkey and all the trimmings are still sitting in the fridge, which thankfully we have got back up and running, but still no oven or hob. We ate trifle and cheese and didn’t starve. Those extra hours usually spent cooking were spent watching Christmas TV and playing with toys. Before he went to bed, Fox said that this was his favourite Christmas ever! Despite my tears and the stress of our unexpected hiccup, it didn’t matter to the boys one bit…

I’ll think about how to fix the problem tomorrow, but for now, I can go to sleep happy. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Lost 15kg, found my confidence… and apparently became way too irresistible to my husband 😂 I definitely didn’t expect THIS to be the side effect of feeling myself again. Baby number 5, here we go!

Let me take you back to our gender reveal for Hunter, 4 years ago today! This baby will be born a few weeks after Hunter was (towards the end of March) so maybe keep an eye out for another reveal in a few weeks 👀

After 4 boys, the temptation to find out is real… and we have found out the gender of each baby either at the 20 week scan, or through …but part of me wants to wait and experience that “it’s a…!” moment for the first time ever.

I keep changing my mind daily at the moment! What did you do — find out, or wait until birth?

All the old wives’ tales are coming out now – high bump for a girl, low bump for a boy, sweet cravings for a girl, salty for a boy, and if you’re battling extra nausea or heartburn, that’s meant to mean a little girl on the way. Not sure how much truth there is in any of it, but it’s fun to guess. Were any of these right for you?

It’s the question I get asked the most during this pregnancy… “Are you hoping for a girl?”
Short answer — no, of course not.
Would it be lovely? Absolutely.
Would I have a clue what to do with a girl? Absolutely not!
As long as this little one arrives happy and healthy, there are 4 big brothers ready to love a new baby — boy or girl — just the same!
