Almost three months ago, I spent the day filming with the BBC, talking very openly about my life, my experiences and what itās actually like growing up with hidden disabilities.
And tonight, itās finally airing! ā¤ļø
Iāll be on BBC1 Spotlight at 6:30pm, talking about autism, ADHD, SEND and some of the experiences that have shaped me into the person I am now. We spoke about education, growing up feeling different, the things people donāt necessarily see from the outside, and why understanding young people like me matters so much.
Sharing my story publicly is something Iāve become pretty used to over the last few years, but thereās still something very strange about knowing that tonight itāll be on peopleās TVs across the South West š«£ Especially considering it was filmed so long ago that I canāt even remember half of what I said!!
But this is exactly why I started sharing my story in the first place. Not because I have all the answers, but because I know how much difference it can make when somebody feels seen, understood and a little less alone in their experiences.
BBC1 Spotlight, tonight at 6:30pm! Itās regional to the South West, but Iāll share the piece afterwards for those of you elsewhere who would like to watch ā¤ļø
