Hi all,

Events and hose orders

Just a quick note to apologise to the ECWS as regrettably we will not be able to attend the upcoming St Ives muster owing to a family wedding. We will however be on the ECWS campsite at Detling on the August Bank Holiday (apologies to the SK at Worcester) and look forward to seeing you all again!

We will not be able to post any hose from Tuesday 22nd to Wednesday 30th July, inclusive. Our hose website is in the process of being updated and we do not have all our colours in stock - meantime you can email us direct with orders to [email protected] - this is preferable because I forget to check Facebook and Ian is still mastering the quill pen.

You can of course catch up with us at the Artisans and Reenactors Market in mid November where we will have stock from all periods.

We are very sorry to hear that fellow traders Quartermaster Stores has ceased trading (that is a completely separate business from Quartermasterie) and we hope the future holds better news for them.

FYI anyone travelling from the south

Heads up for people travelling from the south - M25 CLOSURE 9pm on Friday 15 March to 6am on Monday 18 March. Five-mile stretch between junction 10 and 11.

I have just been told of the M25 CLOSURE this weekend that may effect traders and visitors travelling too and from ARM

What is the diversion route?

Here's the diversion route that's been outlined by National Highways, which maintains England's motorways:

Junction 10 to junction 11: Northbound A3 to Painshill Junction, A245 towards Woking, and then A320 to M25 junction 11
