We are excited to announce that due to further funding, we will be hiding more wonderful Usborne books around Doncaster throughout the school holidays from Summer 22 onwards

Following the success of our Book Treasure Hunts in 2022 (with over 500 books hidden around Doncaster!) we are now making plans for more book hunts to be carried out in 2023…but we need more book sponsors!

You can sponsor 1 book for £1, a special book for £5 (board book for babies / toddlers / longer chapter book for older children / young adult fiction book for teenagers), or if you wanted to sponsor more books, you can sponsor 30 books for £25.

For your sponsorship, you would receive a book plate in each of the books you sponsor advertising your sponsorship / business. Your books would go into many households, and it would be some lovely advertising for you. Your sponsorship and business would also be promoted in the dedicated Facebook group.

The Treasure Hunt is not for profit, and all of the books we supply are at cost, made up and hidden in our own time.

If you would like to sponsor a book, please either comment below or send us a private message to discuss this further.

Alternatively, it would be absolutely fantastic if you could tag a local business who may be interested, or share our post so that it can be seen by others ❤️

It would be amazing if we could match our total from last year 🤞🏻

We wanted to take this opportunity to say a big thanks to everyone for supporting our book treasure hunt this year.

We’ve done a quick calculation, and we’ve hidden a whopping 572 books since World Book Day in March 2022!!!

If you go down to the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise! Not only are todays books hidden in the woods, there’s also a story trail and free books from the amazing Doncaster Stories too! We thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the story trail, and would recommend it if you are looking at something to do over the next few days!

We’re off out for a family tea tonight, so we’ve dropped some Christmas books into the book basket at Lakeside Shopping Centre.

We have to say that the centre looks absolutely fantastic, and our little bookworms enjoyed seeing the lights and decorations ❤️

We apologise in advance that we aren’t able to get further afield with our books this week - my car failed its MOT last night, so we are walking to all our destinations until further notice!
