Danum Photos We visit localities, schools (we have created and maintained over 30 school websites), events, mountains and moorlands, markets and museums.

Our photos have been published in Dalesman books, calendars and magazines ("Yorkshire Journey "by Gervase Phinn), enlarged for corporate offices (Webasto), used in magazines, websites (eg http://www.hallgate-estates.co.uk/) & been given away for charitable endeavours. Recently completed a photoshoot with cricketing legend Dickie Bird. We've also been to several Gervase Phinn events for photography. see our website at www.danum-photos.co.uk

An attempt to keep the dancers and musicians in focus while blurring the background with only a 17mm - 55mm lens.
Many photos taken with a very open aperture of f2.8 and an iso of 200. Hopefully it has been beneficial.
Flash was not used but many of the shots would have benefitted from fill-in flash.
Particularly impressed by Folk Friendzy with their range of folk dance, age of dancers and choreography and presentation.
Beltane Border were very slick, very energetic, and put on an excellent show.
