Self advocate - the Dr doesn’t always know best!! We hear time and time again how cancer diagnosis are missed. People going to the doctors 20 plus times because they know there is something not right, but being they are being told everything is ok, only to eventually be told they have cancer. Fight your own corner, you are not wasting peoples time. You know you 🐝

Less than a week to go until I speak at the amazing ‘Scars of Gold’ Event in Waterloo, London. This health awareness campaign and exhibition has been created by the fabulous charity to highlight the many different experiences of women facing serious health issues and their mortality. A unique blend of art and health advocacy and I cannot wait to be a part of it 🐝

Don’t want to brag, but I actually have the most phenomenal best friend! With a recent terminal cancer diagnosis, accompanied by a s**t load of pain, she has already smashed two half marathons and is now set to run the Paris marathon tomorrow. Do I think she should be running it - NO - am I unbelievably proud of her - YES!! Enjoy every moment and please come back in one piece ###

Front Page Misinformation!!! Oh dear god - you cannot make your Will on your iPhone!! ran a story yesterday about The Wanted’s who recently underwent emergency heart surgery. This article quotes Max saying that he wrote his Will on his iPhone the night before his surgery. In England and Wales it is NOT possible to make a digital or electronic Will. Even digital signatures and video witnessing are NOT possible. A valid Will MUST be in writing, signed with a wet signature, in the presence of two independent witnesses, who must also sign. Surely Max has a Manager or FInancial Advisor that should have ensured this document was already in place??? Especially after his bandmate died at a young age from a brain tumour. Let’s hope Max doesn’t need to use his Will anytime soon and that he has also been advised to write his Lasting Powers of Attorney, amongst other things!! Please note, do NOT take legal advice from a tabloid newspaper!! 🐝😳😡
