Use your story archive for content ideas. You can either reshare them to your current stories (as long as the message is still applicable of course) or use it as content creation inspiration and repurpose the message into a post or reel.

Keeping on top of your social media marketing whilst running a small business can feel heavy. You’re not alone, so here’s a few quick tips to help you through the busy season…

1️⃣ Schedule your posts in batches, even just 3 posts a week so you don’t have that sudden pressure to post something. Try to stay consistent.

2️⃣ Re-share content that connects. FAQ’s or testimonials are great.

3️⃣ Repurpose! You can use the same message in a different format. If you had great views on a reel about one of your wellbeing services, turn it into a post.

Try not to put pressure on yourself. Successful social media marketing is about showing up and being real.

Let’s take a moment to acknowledge how good it is when you see that new follower notification. This means that what you’re saying matters to someone, you have a service, treatment or just a style that made them think and feel ‘you’re my person’. So many people don’t even acknowledge this moment, but I feel it’s a bit rude.

Can you imagine walking into a cafe, salon or shop and not even receiving a smile from your host! It’s not going to inspire you to ask questions, let alone make a purchase.

Here’s what I do… I take a look at their account and as long as they look genuine and hopefully an account within my wellness business area or another marketeer looking to connect, I’ll say hello! People love to feel heard, so comment on something within their account that resonates with you - perhaps a recent trip, a treatment they offer or an educational post that supported your own growth. That’s your warm and friendly welcome, let the conversation flow and offer your support if they’d like it.
