What's the not-so-secret ingredient your business needs for true success: visibility.

So often, I hear, “I need more clients,” or, “I can’t seem to get enough sales.” But here’s what I notice: many of those same people are only talking to a handful of potential clients here and there. They are only making an occasional post, but holding back from actually being seen.

If you’re hoping to grow your business, generate the income to go full-time, or make that true impact—visibility is non-negotiable. Being front and center in your market is essential. Yes, it’s scary! We all worry about judgment, trolls, and messing up in front of an audience. But here’s the reality: when you start out, hardly anyone’s watching. You might have two or three views, mostly from friends supporting you.

Your first video or post isn’t going to break records. But the more you put yourself out there, the easier it becomes, and the better you’ll get at it.

The real progress happens as you build this visibility muscle.

You learn to show up with ease and confidence, connect with others, and not stress over the small stuff. And most people will see you putting yourself out there and think, “Wow, I could never do that.” That’s your power.

When you’re the one showing up, sharing your story, and being genuine, people start to look up to you. They’ll feel inspired by your courage.

So here’s my advice: if you want to attract more clients and make more sales, start by getting visible. The more people who see you, the more people will be drawn into your world.

Hey everyone! 🌟

So I’ve been getting into Alex Hormozi’s world lately. Between the Skool platform, where I now have my own free and paid groups, and his books, I’m picking up some serious business wisdom.

Top takeaways so far:

1️⃣ Make an offer that feels impossible to refuse.

It sounds simple, but so often we create offers we think are great without asking: “Would this be a no-brainer for my ideal client?” Alex’s advice? Over-deliver. Frontload the value. Make it so good that your audience thinks they’d be silly to say no. For me, that means focusing on how I can give my clients all they need to succeed—and then some.

2️⃣ Want more sales? Talk to more people.

If you’re converting at 10%, then for every 100 conversations, you’re likely to get 10 clients. The formula is simple—the more people you connect with, the more clients you’ll gain. But how often do we fall into the trap of expecting quick wins with little effort? Visibility and consistency are essential here. I’m putting myself out there even more to track what works, what doesn’t, and to reach more people who could benefit.

3️⃣ You’ll suck until you don’t.

Whether it’s going live, making sales calls, or writing that first post, you’ll improve as you practice. We all start somewhere, and each attempt brings lessons. I think back to my early sales days, stumbling along until I finally found my stride. You get better as you go. Sometimes that’s all it takes—a willingness to show up and do the work, even if it feels messy at first.

On YouTube, I’ll share what I'm doing. You'll find out what’s working, what’s not, and everything in between. This will include personal development insights too. Things like handling imposter syndrome, perfectionism, and staying grounded in the chaos. I'll share what I have done to help me with all these things and where I'm at right now.

And, because it’s not all business, I’ll also sprinkle in some meditations, tapping sessions, and visualizations for a little boost when you need it.

Let's Talk About Visibility on Facebook 👓

Want to grow your audience and boost your visibility on Facebook? I’ve shared some of my favourite tips below. Facebook is where I've built my biggest audience. With these steps it’s possible to see big changes in your reach without spending a fortune on ads.

When I first started, I didn’t have a big budget. As a single mom, I needed to keep an eye on my expenses, so I found other ways to grow. Here's what worked for me:

1️⃣ Optimize Your Profile:

Your Facebook profile should be like a business card. Make sure your banner, profile picture, and links reflect your business. This helps visitors understand what you do right away. Add links to your website, Facebook group, or any other important pages.

2️⃣ Leverage Facebook Groups:

Joining and participating in relevant Facebook groups is essential. Start with a few groups where your ideal clients hang out. Share valuable posts that show your expertise without directly promoting your services. It’s about offering real value.

3️⃣ Post Valuable Content Daily:

Consistency is key. Post valuable content in groups, respond to comments, and start conversations. Don’t just leave generic comments. Add meaningful insights that help others. This builds your credibility and encourages people to check out your profile.

4️⃣ Use Engagement Posts:

Try using colour-block posts to ask interesting questions or get people's opinions. The more people engage with your posts, the more your content will get seen. Plus, it’s a great way to start conversations and build relationships.

5️⃣ Warm Up Your DMs:

Avoid cold DMs. Instead, message people who’ve interacted with you in groups or joined your Facebook group. It’s about building genuine connections and not randomly reaching out.

Remember, building visibility is a gradual process. The people with large followings didn’t get there overnight—they put in the work to engage consistently and meaningfully.

And yes, it’s okay to show your face. People connect better when they see the real person behind the business. Don’t worry about being perfect. It’s about being authentic.

💫 A little follow-up from my post the other day about confidence and ambition…

I’m feeling really emotional today. I asked my clients to share comments on one of my posts for some social proof. The responses have been incredibly touching (check them out below). It’s almost overwhelming to read such kind words and so much praise. It’s opened up a whole new level of understanding—especially around compliments. This is something I've always found difficult.

To give you some background, my four-year-old is being diagnosed with ASD. While supporting him, I've started to see signs in myself. Wham! That has led me to realize that I’ve probably been neurodivergent my whole life without knowing. It’s made me reflect on my struggles with compliments and fitting into society's expectations for over 40 years.

In some ways, running my own business feels like the perfect fit because I can show up as I am and create things my way. But it also means that accepting praise still feels different for me. Getting those lovely comments today was emotional, and I'm learning to embrace that.

The reason I’m sharing this is to remind you to accept who you are, as I’m trying to. We don’t need to fit into a box or live up to anyone else's expectations. It’s okay to show up, be yourself, and do things in a way that feels true to you.

The best part of this journey is how much it’s helped me grow, and I hope it can do the same for you.
