A bit of an announcement… after careful consideration I have decided to close down the audio side of the business including all cable manufacturing and the last few reconing jobs I have taken on. If I have any of your chassis (or kits) they will be completed in due course, but I’m away most weeks so will have limited time to complete them. I aim, however, to complete everything by mid September. I will also be disposing of my current stock which includes Van Damme cable, Neutrik connectors, Lineax cable and various bits of Penn Elcom hardware. I will also be selling all of my other audio related items too. I list will be compiled as and when I have the time. Thank you to all the customers who have supported the business over the years, it has been great fun!! Thank you, Paul.

Second 18 Sound 21NLW9601 recone completed. This one was a bit strange as only the outer coil had failed, the inner coil was ok. This meant the speaker was still working, but was reading a DCR of 12.8ohm - this driver has two 16ohm coils running in parallel to give the 8ohm rating. Anyway, all done now. Lean Audio

Last minute order for a festival shipping to site today - 30 x 6m black Van Damme Cable and Neutrik standard microphone cables. They were ordered late on Tuesday evening and were delivered to the customer this morning at 0915hrs. Also nearly completed the four 18G550 recones in the background, just need to test, bond the domes and dope the suspensions. VDC Trading Ltd

Finally getting round to starting this build - 90 x fully assigned 5 pin DMX link cables of 1, 2 and 3m lengths with colour coded boots and rings. All built using Neutrik 5 pin black XLRs and Van Damme Cable Smart Control 2 Pair DMX cable. VDC Trading Ltd

Four 63A 1ph power cables.

Built for a customer last year, he paid a small deposit, but cancelled them after 10 months of chasing. Been in storage for nearly 12 months, a little dusty, but new and unused.

I don’t really deal with heavy mains that much now, so priced to clear.

Titanex H07RN-F 3G16 and PCE IP67 connectors.

2 x 10m plug to connector - £160 each
2 x 4.5m bare ends to connector - £70 each

Another batch of 12 power cables delivered locally last night. 10 were standard Neutrik 20A PowerCon extension cables using Nexans Titanex 3G2.5 H07RN-F cable. The remaining two were 16A PowerCon True1 to 20A PowerCon NAC3FXXA-W-L cables, again using Titanex 3G2.5 H07RN-F.

First post for a few days! Lots of builds and prep this week. Some Van Damme Cable Tour Grade Black Series 8x4mm speaker cables terminated with Neutrik NLT8FXX-BAG connectors, plus some Van Damme Blue Series speaker cables and a number of Nexans Titanex 3G2.5 power cables terminated with 20A Neutrik PowerCon connectors. Finally, I’ve started prep on a batch of 90 five pin fully assigned DMX cables using Van Damme Smart Control 2 Pair cable and Neutrik black NC5 XLR connectors with colour coded boots.
