We’re back! (After 15 months off!)
Last week we opened as a trial, operating as a table service bar, running on a reduced capacity and were delighted to see so many customers support us!
This week we shall be trading again on Saturday evening 5-11pm and on Sunday from Midday, showing the football on our big screens in the evening.
We also have a new pool table for you to play!
We are not taking bookings, but are accepting walk ins, once the seats are taken, that’s it!
The rules are the same as every other bar (masks when not at your table, sanitise, check in Scotland app, 8 from 3, table service only, no dancing and no visiting other tables)
So, come down early and we’ll see you there!

With less than 4 weeks to go, we thought we would cheer up your Sunday by not only releasing the Doonhame Day Programming but also announcing some more amazing acts to add to the already bursting line up!

Kyle Falconer (formerly The View) will be debuting his new band on our MKM Stage on the Saturday.

Tom McGuire & The Brassholes grace the MKM stage on Friday. 🎺

Our good friends at Circa 16 Sound Recording are delighted to present Shambolics - the latest signing from Alan McGee’s Creation 23 label.

Novablood will make a most welcome return to the festival along with Redfish Blues Band.

It is however with great sadness that we have to report that Hayseed Dixie cannot join us this year due to “Darn Covid”.

And of course - just in case you missed the announcement - festival heroes Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5 will be with us on Saturday and Ibiza Mania Dance Events have announced their reunion line up for the Friday!

We have had these lads in Dumfries twice and would love to book them again for another show when we can do that again!
However, in the meantime they are releasing a vinyl entitled “L U N E” and it is only limited to 250. If you can remember them from the shows way back when at The Venue then you’ll definitely remember that they are incredible and talented at what they do.
