THE A75 at Annan has reopened following a lorry fire yesterday morning.

However, traffic lights are in place, and the road is restricted to a single carriageway, as remaining repairs to the surface take place.

TRAFFIC is still being diverted through Annan after a lorry fire on the A75 this morning.

Police have confirmed that no injuries have been reported from the incident.

However, the section of the A75 near the town will remain closed for the time being to allow for repairs to the road surface.

ANNAN RFC held their popular Highland Games event on Saturday. Great fun was had despite the dreich weather. Highlights included tug of war, Highland dancing and caber tossing. See this week's paper for more results and photos.
