McLean Magic Media has been working with OurDunbar to promote “Dunbar says NO to parking charges” for the last few months. Keep the momentum going by liking, sharing and commenting on our posts but, more importantly, remember to have your say. Post cards out and about around the town which can be handed back into Flux on the High Street. Keep fighting with us !!

🚫 DUNBAR SAYS NO TO PARKING CHARGES 🚫

On Tuesday 9th December, East Lothian Councillors will vote on whether to introduce parking charges and residents’ permits across Dunbar’s town centre.

This could include:
• Paid parking on town centre streets
• Charges in local car parks
• Residents’ permit zones across a large area of the town centre

📅 Revised proposals will be published on 2nd December, giving our community just one week to read them before the vote.

Both Dunbar Community Council and Dunbar Trades’ Association remain firmly opposed to any charges or permits in Dunbar, believing they will:
💔 Damage local businesses
💸 Unfairly impact town centre residents
🚫 Make everyday life harder for families, workers, and visitors

Now is the time to speak up.

To give all our wonderful volunteers a well-earned rest after a very busy year, Dunbar FoodShare will be closing over Christmas.

Here’s everything you need to know:

🎁 Christmas Donations – By Wednesday 10th December

If you’re planning on bringing in any festive gifts or seasonal treats, we’d really appreciate receiving them by Wednesday 10th December.

This helps us make sure everything is beautifully sorted and passed on to local families before we finish up for the year. Your generosity at this time means the world, and early donations just give us a wee bit more breathing space to get it all organised. 💛
