McLean Magic Media has been working with OurDunbar to promote βDunbar says NO to parking chargesβ for the last few months. Keep the momentum going by liking, sharing and commenting on our posts but, more importantly, remember to have your say. Post cards out and about around the town which can be handed back into Flux on the High Street. Keep fighting with us !!
π« DUNBAR SAYS NO TO PARKING CHARGES π«
On Tuesday 9th December, East Lothian Councillors will vote on whether to introduce parking charges and residentsβ permits across Dunbarβs town centre.
This could include:
β’ Paid parking on town centre streets
β’ Charges in local car parks
β’ Residentsβ permit zones across a large area of the town centre
π
Revised proposals will be published on 2nd December, giving our community just one week to read them before the vote.
Both Dunbar Community Council and Dunbar Tradesβ Association remain firmly opposed to any charges or permits in Dunbar, believing they will:
π Damage local businesses
πΈ Unfairly impact town centre residents
π« Make everyday life harder for families, workers, and visitors
Now is the time to speak up.
