Hiya everyone. I found out today that Scottish History Out Of Order has been nominated for a Torc Award for Excellence in the History (Sound) category at this year’s Celtic Media Festival.
I’m obviously pretty made up, hence the photo of me confiding in a big statue of a dug (that’s really to try and cheat the algorithm but don’t tell anyone), but it does come with some guilt. I’ve been a very busy little audio producer this year and I’ve had to put Scottish History Out Of Order on the back burner a little. So this is my promise to you: I’m working on new episodes and getting our old episodes brushed up and reshaped a little. It might not be the quickest process but the show isn’t going anywhere… we’ll be back with some new bits soon.
Thanks to all of the people who have worked on the show and got it to a point where it can be nominated in a category almost entirely populated by BBC productions. It’s pretty wild and you’re all amazing.
