Artist Spotlight - LOWRIS

DJ - Producer Based in Paris, FR

Lowris (Loris Pugnet) is a Paris-based DJ, producer, label head, and mastering engineer with over a decade in electronic music.

He was a Resident DJ at CONCRETE, Paris, from 2011 until its closing in 2019, sharing the stage with artists such as Baby Ford, Sonja Moonear, Ricardo Villalobos, and Zip, and forming a standout back-to-back partnership with Jean-Guillaume Cabanne as K.O.D. (“Kings Of Delay”) — an ongoing duo project with four EPs released between 2017 and 2026.
In 2013, he founded the label ÆTERNUM MUSIC, now home to over twenty artists including Baby Ford, Cabanne, and Sonja Moonear. He was also part of YOYAKU’s roster from 2018 to 2022. In 2019, he launched EYE SOUND STUDIO in Paris, where he works as CEO and Mastering Engineer, offering vinyl, digital, and stem mastering and mixing from a fully acoustically treated room.

Blending technical precision with a relentless passion for music, Lowris continues to shape the Paris electronic scene as a DJ, producer, label head, and engineer.

Matt Storey brings an all‑vinyl set built around the heavy roots of dub and reggae. A long‑time organiser behind Reading Rooms nights such as Crayon and Check The Rabbit — who have hosted a whole range of artists like Loefah, Pinch and Mount Kimbie — he channels that legacy into a bass‑rich, sound‑system‑influenced session grounded in the deep rhythmic traditions of dub.

Super excited to hear him bring his flavour to the dancefloor.

Artist Spotlight - Sammy Peeps

Sammy Peeps is a vinyl enthusiast living in Edinburgh.
Growing up with dnb & Jungle, Sammy is a fan of a healthy bassline, though now exploring the deeper side of minimal house as well as some chunky techno numbers. Always looking for the weird and wonderful, his record bag is usually brimming with energy and vibes after long Discogs sessions. When he’s not obsessing over vinyl he’s bringing the same interest in finding oddities to searching the crevices of bandcamp. Likes to play the whole tune. Even an entire Villalobos track from start to finish. But nobody really knows when they actually finish.

Excited to see everyone on the decorated dance floor, hopefully bringing a different vibe to canvas for this one. Saturday 15th of August.

Artist Spotlight - Scott

Hailing from the small Scottish town of St. Andrews and now based in Berlin, Scott is a devoted vinyl head who stands as the sole force behind the podcast series and record label, ‘Afterhours.’

Whether meticulously exploring the intricacies of house music or diving into the deeper, more atmospheric shades of techno, he’s showcased his ability to diversely craft sonic journeys that resonate with audiences internationally having graced the stage in cities such as London, Lisbon, Tokyo, Seoul & Sydney - playing for and collaborating with the likes of S.A.S.H, Fabric, Boiler Room, Golden Gate, Circus Osaka, Teller & many more.

Artist Spotlight - TODD

Having been a key member of the Scottish music scene since his move to Edinburgh, TODD quickly
established residencies at many of the city’s top clubs. Always treading a fine line between house,
techno, garage, and minimal, TODD is never happier than when he blurs the lines between them all.

Using the many years he has spent behind the decks to his advantage, he presents his sonic vision
through his pop-up party brand, Reduced Service, where he showcases his love for the diverse range of
music that makes up his truly unique sound.
TODD is also one of the creative minds behind the highly influential music platform Trommel Music. He is
now regularly called up as the resident DJ for their worldwide events. Taking this mantle in his stride, he
helps to soundtrack the influential parties that help to shape the underground landscape, with recent
dates in Madrid, Lisbon, Zanzibar, Berlin, Oslo, Bangkok, and Gottwood Festival in Wales.

Artist Spotlight - Peeve

A regular in the Scottish club scene, Peeve started publicly DJing through her monthly residency on Clyde Built radio 6 years ago.

Having played some of the best venues and festivals in Scotland, recently Kelburn, and regularly playing for some of the best club nights, promoters and record labels such as Craigie Knowes, Lezure and iconic night Italoween at Berkeley Suite, Peeve is no stranger to keeping energy up with an eclectic mix of musical styles.

Leaning more towards the dark sounds of EBM, Italo, electro and Chicago and Detroit house, it’s a blend that promises to keep dance floors moving

As a resident for Motus, Bayne has cemented his angle by delivering a host of high-energy and emphatic sets that really rock the dancefloor. This has been enforced through ample sets throughout his time being a part of the core Motus Squad.

This August, Motus returns with its biggest summer gathering yet, taking over CANVAS for 12 hours of underground electronic music, bringing together an exceptional lineup of artists from across the country and overseas.

Leading the bill is Lowris a renowned name in underground house and minimal scene across Europe. Coming from Paris, he is well known for his deep, groove-led sound and appearances at some of the world’s most iconic clubs and festivals, Lowris brings his unmistakable selections and crowd work to Dundee for a quality evening on the dance floor.

Joining him is a carefully curated lineup featuring Ross Bayne Jono Fyda Mike Gray Niamh de Baróid .peeps Scott Patterson sonho__ Stu Todd Matt Storey each bringing their own unique style to take you on a musical journey from the afternoon sunshine through to the early hours.

Expect crystal-clear sound, an intimate atmosphere, and a dancefloor filled with people who share a passion for quality underground music.
