Cumbria always feels like a home away from home with stunning scenery, Lakes, Fells & the loveliest people. πŸ’•
always make sure that your stay is just as homely.

We stayed at right in the heart of Bowness. It was such a great location to explore the shops, catch a boat trip up Lake Windermere & of course it had to be dog friendly! 🐢🩷

As with all their Inns they focus on great food & drink, good pub vibes after a busy day & comfy rooms to rest in… that’s why we always return!

Last week I spent the day soaking up the countryside charm at Sillyflatt Farm Shop & Field Kitchen.
Fresh air, homemade delicious food, and the kind of peaceful vibes you wish you could bottle.
From farm shop goodies, a wellness space & sauna available to rent & the cutest little moments with the animals, it’s the definition of slow living done right πŸ’›

I went along to follow the fab new walking routes round the farm before devouring a delicious brunch & mooching in the shop.
We took the β€œSillyflatt Circular” which was an easy walk round the field with gorgeous views out to sea & over the bay at Inverbervie.

The whole site is dog friendly but please keep them on a lead due to free roaming chickens, wildlife etc. 🩷🐾🐢
