How amazing! Belatedly Happy Birthday!

It's Friday Foundation Fundraisers, and this week we’re shining a spotlight on a truly thoughtful act of generosity by James Davidson 💜

James donated an amazing £1,076 to Moredun Ward at Murray Royal Hospital, following his 50th birthday celebrations. Instead of gifts, James kindly asked his guests to make a donation, raising £2,152 in total and splitting the funds equally between Moredun Ward and the Air Ambulance Service.

Senior Charge Nurse Beth Wells shared:
“We are extremely grateful to James for this generous donation. The ward team will now work with our patient and staff group to decide how the funds can be used to benefit care and wellbeing on the ward. We thanked James and his wife, Marilyn, for thinking of us during their celebrations. James also shared how well he is doing post-discharge.”

Thank you, James — your kindness will make a meaningful difference to patients and staff at Moredun Ward. 💙✨
