So… I bowled my first tournament - first time playing outside my home centre, first time at ALSAA, first time bowling baker trios… and didn’t we go and finish third in the squads overall?! That took us to the stepladder finals where we finished fourth. What a result!
I went down expecting to just have some fun. I did NOT expect for us to end up where we did!
Massive thanks to Paul and Andrew for bowling with me, thanks to my fellow bowlers who also traveled down for the support, thanks to everyone who attended ALSAA today and to the centre itself for running the event.
Congrats to everyone who bowled, well done to everyone to made it to the final and of course to the winners in a nail biting finish!

We had an exciting evening in ALSAA Bowl tonight with 26 Teams playing in the Baker Trios involving 78 bowlers vying for the top prize of €1000. Prizes were awarded to the top 5 teams as well as the top Junior, Senior, Ladies and ALTBC teams with the event sponsored by Tenpin Ireland, ALSAA Bowl and Strike 74 Pro-Shop.
The final Step-Ladder Rung created an amount of excitement among the spectators with the Winning Team of Colum Staines, Anna Lawlor and Ed Marshall (all Juniors) winning by 1 pin from Adrian Rutherford, Barry Gower and Steve Tully (from Northern Ireland). Full Results are attached.
Tenpin Ireland also had their Caps Presentation night in ALSAA Bowl during the event with many Prizewinners. Congratulations to all.
