FED will be collaborating once again with Fife Council’s Employability Team on an innovative new course that opens the door to one of the fastest-growing sectors in the world: Geospatial Technology.

The Geospatial Academy is a 16-week course designed to give participants practical, hands-on experience in:

- Understanding and analysing their environment
- Using cutting-edge tech to capture, store and visualise location-based data
- Exploring careers in mapping, navigation, urban/environmental planning and business intelligence
- Building clear pathways into employment or further study in this rapidly expanding industry
- The course is community-focused, team-driven and designed to equip learners with real-world skills and insight.

Film Education Dunfermline will also be documenting the journey, so if you're involved, there’s an opportunity to appear in a short film about the project – or even work alongside us behind the camera if you’re curious about creative media. This is a brilliant opportunity to learn, collaborate and shape your future.

Get in touch with the Fife Employability Team (email in the image) to find out how to apply.
