I'm sad to say that this is the quality of workmanship carried out by another local Dunfermline based "AV installer"
Masonry plugs used on a plasterboard wall to mount a 50" TV??? Not sure how they sleep at night.
This is now the second occasion I've came across this, from the same company, which is the reason for my post. In the first instance the 55" TV was literally hanging off the wall. Both families also had young children. 🫣
I'll not be naming and shaming as it's not the Digital Solutions way, this is purely an awareness post.
I may not be able to install next week, the week after or the week after that but there is a very good reason for this. A finished picture may look good and reviews may state "a great job" but please be very wary. If I can't reach you within your desired time frame I'm happy to recommend installers I trust and those to avoid.

Absolutely shocking, completely unsafe and completely ripping people off.

As you all know I love a TV soundbar combo 🎶
and this installation was no exception and a pleasure to carry out.

98" TCL 4K LED TV paired with a Bose surround sound system. Some really nice kit here.
Mounted on a plasterboard wall utilising an XL slimline bracket and all cabling concealed within the cavity. The DSAVI way!!

Here I've added to an existing TV mount, utilising a wall which was basically dead space.
Now this customer's PS5, controllers and headset are safely mounted out the way keeping things nice and tidy and potentially freeing up surface space as well as looking great.

Available for most major consoles and can be designed and printed in various colours.

🔷🔹Bespoke Accoustic panelled media wall🔹🔷

I had great fun installing this media wall for one of my longest standing customers, now friends.

Some progress photos and the finished article displaying the quality of workmanship that goes into our builds.

The wall incorporates a custom TV and sound bar recess, Dimplex LED electric fire and storage cupboards to house all AV/CCTV equipment fully clad in Charcoal grey accoustic wall panels.

Beautiful new Samsung 55" TV mounted on a full motion bracket and matching soundbar positioned below.

I'm sure you will all this is real statement piece in this living room that adds a WOW factor. 🤩

Completely un-Audio/Visual related, but here is the new League Trophy from the Inverkeithing Darts League proudly sponsored by Digital Solutions AVI.

It was an even greater honour to present the trophy to my very own captain/vice captain after our team triumphed in winning the league title for the Gladyer Inn.

Very successful season winning The League, The League Cup, The Knockout Cup, The 4's, and The Doubles. Also Runners up in the Top Half Cup and the League Singles.
Thanks to the Gladyer for hosting us and feeding us all at half time and to the regulars who cheer us on.

I love designing feature/media walls and sharing ideas with my customers, but I can not take credit for this one.

It was a pleasure to help create this lovely couples' vision in the form of this feature wall.

Smoked oak accoustic wall panels installed to a slim timber framework. One of my fabulous full motion brackets installed, A SkyQ box mounted in behind and finished with the stunning LG Gallery Design TV.

Complete cable free heaven, adding another beautiful feature to an already beautiful home.

I've been pretty quiet on social media recently, mainly for personal reasons, but I've still been working hard behind the scenes where possible. There are plenty of images of my installations to share (apologies for photo bombardment in advance)

These accoustic panels come in 8 different colours and work brilliant with any AV setup.

I was able to try out some new 3d printed models with this wall mount, allowing the customers Xbox and controllers to be neatly stowed.

The tv was mounted on a fixed slimline bracket with power supplies for all devices installed behind the tv.
Now, there is no requirement for a unit below the tv providing added living room space.
