Stewart's Music Shop

Stewart's Music Shop Stewart's Music Shop From CDs and DVDs of the great showband days, to the new Dancehall stars of the present, they are all available here.

Stewart’s Music Shop first opened it’s doors over thirty years ago, and is now one of the longest and independently established owned music stores in Ireland. All music tastes are catered for – country, pop, rock, traditional, easy listening and much more, from the very latest releases to the golden oldies. Great music shop it is, but as a Country and Irish Music Shop it has acquired an unrivalled

reputation throughout Ireland and further afield. Our musical instrument department stocks a comprehensive range of leading brand name instruments – acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards and drumkits. We also carry a wide selection of traditional folk instruments – fiddles, banjos, mandolins etc and an excellent range of standard and low whistles. A complete range of strings and accessories for rock and folk musicians is also available. We are delighted with the many visitors who call with us on their trips to Ireland, many of them wishing to bring their Irish music collection up to date. Should you be paying a visit to the area with your family, or as part of a bus tour, do give us a call. You can be sure of a friendly and musical welcome.

This one has already been snapped up (sorry!) but it’s too special not to share - a Japanese pressing of Michael Jackson’s Thriller manufactured by Epic/Sony Inc in Tokyo.

This 1982 release is complete with every original insert — the iconic OBI strip, fold out poster, Japanese lyric booklet and liner notes, and even the rare advertising sheet for his book release in Japan - an inclusion almost never seen today. An immaculate piece of pop history 🪄

Japanese pressings are widely regarded as the highest-quality vinyl records ever produced, thanks to Japan’s exceptional manufacturing standards during the 1970s and 80s. Records from this era were pressed on high-purity virgin vinyl, resulting in lower surface noise and superior audio clarity compared to those pressed elsewhere.

With the infamous OBI strip, original insert, and limited run stickers...this pristine 1977 Bay City Rollers Early Collection won’t be on our shelf for long.
