Last week we strolled through storybook streets and riverside paths in charming Knaresborough with the spaniels. I'm a sucker for a castle and enjoyed walking the grounds but unfortunately inside isn't dog friendly - yet. ๐Ÿฐ

Fun fact about Knaresborough' Blind Jack statue [last picture] Blind Jack, born John Metcalf in 1717 in Knaresborough, was left blind from smallpox at age six and became a pioneering road builder, musician, and horseman. His road-building career began in 1765 and spanned around 180 miles across Northern England.
