⚠️ This is advanced warning that during this year's Miners’ Gala there will be a temporary airspace restriction in place in Durham – this prevents all drones flying other than emergency service drones.

This will be a 1.2 nautical mile radius centred from 544627N 0013346W.

This has been put in place by the Civil Aviation Authority under article 239 of the Air Navigation Order (ANO) 2016.

This will make it an offence for anyone to fly an unmanned aircraft within this restriction.

The restriction will be in place on Saturday, July 12 between the hours of 1.01am and 8pm.

To celebrate 21 years of the A to Z of Pop, on 6th of July 2025 there will be a 14-hour marathon show that DHR will be broadcasting. The marathon starts at 8am and will run through until 10pm.

Richard Smith is the creator of the A to Z of Pop, with programmes focussing on a letter of the alphabet with song titles or artists that begin with that letter.
