She only went and did it! Eileen Thompson, Durham Hospitals Radio’s Fundraising Manager, did the Great North Run on 7th September and raised funds for Durham Hospitals Radio. Eileen’s husband Ray also did the run.

But Eileen wasn’t the only one raising funds for DHR at the Great North Run…..
Cat is one of the DHR volunteers, and her husband Neil raised £300, so together with Eileen’s sponsorship, between them they have raised just under £1000 for DHR!

DHR is a registered charity staffed entirely by volunteers and self-supporting. We broadcast 24/7 to the patients of the University Hospital of North Durham and aim to provide an entertainment and information service to patients of all ages in the hospital.
