Our Iso booth at our studio 🎤

Our iso booth, which has a window view of the control room, is 2m x 2m and completely sound proof to the rest of the studio.

Our microphone featured that we use on every recording is a Townsend L22 emulation mic.
This allows us to change to most of the famous microphones used to suit anyone’s vocal tone before or after the recording.

Another cool feature is that it’s a stereo mic and it’s polar pattern can be adjusted in post, so we’re able to use it as a figure-8 or even as omnidirectional for drum room sounds.

Lastly, as the room is sound proof, we keep all our guitar cabinets in here so when we’re recording guitars or re-amping, we only hear what the mic is capturing as apposed to the cabinet in the room.
