I hopped onto for a few photos of Heather & I to decorate our desk space and before I knew it i’d selected almost 70 photos and had a collection of memories in front of me.

It felt so different bringing them to life and holding them rather than just flicking past or letting them rot on iCloud.

I printed my happiest moments, my strongest relationships, clients who become friends, events i’m proud to have been a part of, places I can’t believe Hop Skip Fly has taken me, mentors i’m grateful to have had.

Hop Skip Fly 2025 🌟 Our August photo has become a bit of a tradition and each year we laugh at how different it looks.

This year looks very different with the addition of Rebecca! Back in March I offered work experience placements to school students via South Lanarkshire College, it was meant to be temporary but I was so impressed with Rebecca’s work ethic and reliability that we made it official and she joined the team after leaving school in May.
Currently in a junior trainee role, Rebecca has slotted into Hop Skip Fly beautifully and we’re prepping her for remote work when she heads off to Dundee for Art School in September! 🥲🎨🖼️

Heather naturally embraced leadership as we welcomed the students, demonstrating an ability to manage people as well as tasks, earning her a promotion to Team Leader at Hop Skip Fly.

Me…most days I still feel like the solo freelancer I started as in 2020 (wow has it really been 5 years) but clearly i’m not anymore 😂
My clients still get the personal service you expect when you hire a freelancer over a big agency. You get me, my strategy, my work, my soul I just have an amazing team behind me, supporting the bits i’m comfortable outsourcing.
