The team rehearses weekly in Retford during autumn and winter, before taking their dancing on the road in spring and summer.

Planning your visit to Thoresby Park this weekend? Here’s how to make the most of your day:

✅ Buy your tickets in advance to save money. Family tickets are only available in advance.

🚗 Parking is FREE and included with your ticket. Use postcode NG22 9EP and follow the festival signs from the A614 as you approach Thoresby Park.

⏰ The festival is open from 10am–5pm each day. Arrive early to enjoy everything on offer!

🐶 Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please keep them on a lead and clean up after them.

💳 Most traders accept cards, but bringing some cash is always a good idea.

👩‍🍳 Places at the FREE Cookery School for Kids are allocated on the day, so visit the Cookery School early to secure a session.

🌞 This is an outdoor festival, so check the forecast, we love the British weather!

There’s nothing quite like a Saturday Market in Retford - the buzz of a busy market, friendly faces, fresh produce, the flavours, the choice, the conversations over a cuppa, and the wonderful community spirit that Retford Market thrives on.

A huge thank you to our brilliant market traders, visitors, volunteers, and everyone who continues to support Retford’s Markets. Your smiles, stories, and support keep our markets going week after week. 🤗

And soon there’s going to be even more to enjoy as the regular Saturday Market will be joined by the Farmer’s Market and Craft Market to create Retford Big Market Day on Saturday 19th September!

Not only will there be an even wider choice of delicious local produce and goodies, artisan products and handcrafted wares, there’ll also be fantastic, free, family entertainment (10am-1pm) with Mr Mouse Stilton-Walker AND the wonderful Hathersage Brass Band also making a welcome return visit to Retford.

🏹 The Sheriff of Nottingham is coming to Headon! 🏹
