Is this Northern Ireland’s best dog walk? 😍
 
Few dog walks come with a landscape quite like , where around 40,000 basalt columns meet the Atlantic Ocean.
 
We’ve picked out a relatively short route following the Blue Trail from the Visitor Centre down towards the famous stones, leaving you plenty of time to explore when you get there.
 
The route:
 
📍 Giant’s Causeway, County Antrim
🥾 Approx. 2 miles
⏰ Approx. 1 hour
🟢 Easy

🐕 Dogs welcome on leads
☕️ Dog friendly Visitor Centre café
💧 Water bowls available
🅿️ Parking available at the Causeway Hotel for £10, but it is returned as a voucher at the hotel
🎟️ Visiting the stones themselves is free
⚠️ Be aware of slippery stones and some steep sections

Is this the UK’s most scenic woodland walk? 🌳🐕

We think it might be… Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire is home to thousands of trees from around the world, but if you’re visiting with your dog, Silk Wood is where you’ll want to head.

We’ve picked out one of our favourite routes through Silk Wood, taking you through beautiful woodland and some of Westonbirt’s incredible tree collection.

The route:

📍 Westonbirt Arboretum - Silk Wood, Gloucestershire
🥾 Approx. 3.5 miles
⏰ Approx. 1.5 hours
