Will my puppy swim for a tennis ball? 🎾💦

This afternoon I was listening to the latest podcast, which talks about the benefits of swimming and hydrotherapy for dogs. My two older dogs absolutely hate swimming but I thought now would be the perfect time to try my puppy in the water… seeing as we do live on an Island 🌊

The podcast talked about the fact that not every dog is a natural swimmer and that there’s actually a process for helping dogs build confidence around the water. As you can probably tell, I didn’t exactly follow that process… but I also didn’t force it, this was first of many trial runs 🤭

Also he loves a ball, so part of me thought that would do the trick 🤷🏼‍♀️

Anyway, from here, we’ll take things a little slower and build up his confidence.

If you’re interested in the topic, I’d definitely recommend giving the podcast a listen because I’m not doing it justice here. It’s available on all major podcast platforms 🎧 AD

🏖️ Right opposite the beach

The goodie bags were used across the weekend for everything from quizzes and bingo to competitions and giveaways 🥳
