Cars squeeze by
Trailers with horses

Love Burns , Rivers run,
Chimneys smoke . Lambs born
Spring has sprung
A Spring in my step
when I’m with you

Whistling along … humming to your favourite song ,
Getting to know each others super fun
We stop for cakes at Cupar
Oats on buns

Horses run together as we drive
In your autobiography
You keep looking at my
Fishnet tights
Next time I’ll wear leggings

Incase you did not know , It’s National Poetry Day. I wrote this Haiku in 2022 after my tutor introduced me to this ancient Japanese poetic form that consists of three lines, with five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five in the third.

Usually incorporating elements of nature 🌪️
