Full Job Description

An Assistant’s main role is to deliver outstanding customer service and to help with the smooth running of the salon on a day to day basis. This includes but is not limited to:

•Greeting clients and offering refreshments.
•Maintaining salon cleanliness and appearance.
•Assisting stylists with shampooing, blowdrying etc.
•Assisting receptionist with salon diary, over-the-phone appointments etc.

What we're looking for...

•Must be punctual and reliable
•Have excellent customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude
•Flexible with working evenings, weekends, holidays etc.
•Team player
•Drive for a career in hairdressing
The position is full-time (34.5 hours p/w) and would include Saturday shifts.

No experience or previous training is necessary, just a genuine passion to become a hairdresser and the willingness to put in the hard work to make it happen.

After a suitable probationary period, a successful candidate will be offered SVQ training with our in-house and our external training partners and will over time become a fully qualified stylist within our salon.

Job Types: Permanent, Apprenticeship
