✨ Four weeks, nearly 1,000 stickers sold, far too many cups of coffee, and more conversations than I can count — my West End Fair diary is finally live on the blog!

During the fair, I kept a few diary entries to capture how I was feeling and what was happening each week.

One little goal was to collect business cards from the friends I made along the way, and this collage shows just some of the lovely makers I met. There were so many others too — some ran out of cards, chose not to have them, or I was just too late to ask — so apologies if you’re not pictured 💖

However, from first-day nerves to end-of-month reflections, here’s a peek at what it’s really like to spend four weeks as a stall holder at one of the biggest events of the summer.

✨ A Little Shipping & Online Shopping Update ✨

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about how I sell online, and I’ve decided to make things simpler going forward. From now on, the only place to shop online will be directly through my own website (no more Etsy). This way I can keep everything in one place, and you’ll always know where to find me.

As for shipping:
📦 UK — open as normal
📦 Worldwide (Canada, Australia, New Zealand + more) — still available
📦 US + EU — currently paused

The US tariff situation and EU laws mean I need to take a bit more time to set things up properly. My plan is to look into reopening both at some point once I’ve sorted everything out but for now I will be pausing shipping to EU & US.

I know this is a little disappointing, and I’m so grateful that so many of you ask about worldwide shipping. I promise I’ll do my best to bring it back as soon as I can 💛

Just over six years ago, I graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a 2:1 in Digital Media and Interaction Design. I honestly couldn’t tell you much about the ceremony itself, I think I was too busy fretting about walking across the stage, but one moment from that day has stayed with me ever since.

It was the final speech, given by the Chancellor of my university at the time, David Eustace. He showed a photo of some graffiti he’d seen in New York: at the bottom, it said ‘You Are Here’, and at the top, ‘Dreams’, with a straight arrow connecting the two. He explained that this is how most people expect their journey to look—or at least how they hope it will go: a direct path from where they are to where they want to be.

Then he showed a second image. Same start and end points, but this time the straight line was replaced with a chaotic scribble. “This,” he said, “is the reality of most people’s journey.”

That stuck with me. To the point where I’ve never forgotten it. And now, six years later, sitting here and feeling like I’m still very much in the scribbled part of the journey, I can see just how true his words were.

And so today I’m kicking off a new blog series all about my artistic journey, with Part 1 – The Foundation Years now up on my website. If you fancy a look at where it all started, feel free to wander over and read it here:

Something a bit different this week—more of a journal entry than a promo post.

I’ve been trying to push myself more with each design I share. It’s probably no secret to anyone who knows me that the social media side of running a small business isn’t exactly my favourite part. Being at the mercy of Instagram’s weird algorithm can be disheartening—especially when you put hours into something and barely anyone sees it.

But when I started making the graphics for my blog posts, it reminded me of why I fell in love with Photoshop in the first place. Back at uni, I used to make all sorts of random graphic design projects just for fun—and now I get to do it for my own business, something I built from the ground up out of that same love for drawing and design.

So I decided recently that if marketing and social media are part of the job, then I might as well make it something I enjoy. Even if social media feels quieter these days, I’m still making these because I love the process. And I’ve always wanted to experiment making a seamless carousel post design and now I finally have!

And oh yeah—swipe through to see all the ways the octopus design shows up in the shop!

New Blog Post! 🌊☀️

Sparked by a chance meeting at a market last summer, this month’s Deep Design Dive is all about the pirate seagulls! 🏴‍☠️

Made exactly a year ago, it felt like the perfect time to reflect on one of my more chaotic designs—originally inspired by the incredible creations from

And with July and August focused on all things seaside, what better time to revisit these mischievous little guys? After all, you can’t go to the beach without spotting a seagull or two… though most of them aren’t wearing eye patches or hoarding treasure 💰😅

Tap the link in my bio to read the full story, watch the full timelapse, and get a sneak peek at a new blog series launching later this month 🐚

☀️ It’s July, and maybe it’s the heatwave, but summer always gets me thinking about the beach! So for the next couple of months, I’ll be highlighting some of my sea-themed designs 🌊🐙

And what better way to kick things off than by adding a new design to the collection?🐬

This dolphin design was created in collaboration with the lovely Sarah from She reached out to ask if I had any dolphin designs—and while it had been on my to-do list for ages, I hadn’t got around to it yet… so I made one for her!

It’s inspired by Chanonry Point in the Moray Firth—one of the best places in the UK to spot dolphins. I actually visited last July and saw loads of them which was incredible 💫

The design is now available as a greeting card (complete with a sunshine yellow envelope!) and you’ll also be able to grab some from Sarah’s shop in Fortrose. Prints are coming very soon too!

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these posts, but the next few days I’ve got my first proper weekend of markets 🎉

I’ve headed down Edinburgh way for the next three days, starting off tonight at at the Biscuit Factory in Leith — I’ll be there from 6pm–11pm, so come say hi if you’re about! 🌙✨

Then it’s a quick turnaround and off to with for the first time in over a year! I’ll be there all day on Saturday and Sunday, and I’m excited to return after such a long time away 🧡

So if you’re in the area come by and say hi 👋 — I’d love to see you!

My new blog post is now live! 🐄✨

This month’s Deep Design Dive is all about the second of my most popular pieces—my Highland Cow design! I’m sharing the full behind-the-scenes journey, from what was happening in my life when I sat down to make it, the inspirations and the chaotic colour process that followed 😂

You can read the full post now via the link below—including the full timelapse showing every step, struggle and colour crisis along the way 🎨💛

So… I started a blog! 🎉

One of the questions I get asked the most—especially at markets—is “Where do you get your inspiration?” And honestly… it’s never a short answer 😅

So I’ve had the idea to start a blog floating around in my head for a while now, as a way to share a proper behind-the-scenes look at my creative process, the stories behind my designs, and all the little details I don’t always get to explain when people ask about my work.

And now… I’ve finally launched it!

The first post kicks off the new series called Deep Design Dive, and we’re starting with a fan (and personal) favourite: Nessie 🦕

In this post, I talk about how my childhood inspired the design, why the first attempt didn’t work out, and how I finally landed on the version you know today. I’ve even included a full, never-before-shared timelapse—complete with the scrapped first version—for a real look at how messy my creative process actually is.

I’d love to hear your thoughts—there’s a comment section at the end of the blog, so feel free to stop by and say hi 💬✨

It’s not every day you get a parcel through the door of a new toiletry bag with your own artwork on it 🥰

Big thanks to .studio for sending me up one of the boxy pouch bags from our collaboration 💚 The gold zip looks so good against the green of the bag and they feel so soft too!!

You can buy any of the bags in the collection from either my website or Lily’s 🥰

My take on the AI doll trend except I’m a real artist who drew it myself 💖

I actually haven’t drawn people in so long and so this was a fun challenge to take on! One of my goals for this year was to do more drawing just for the fun of it so one good thing that came of this trend was it got me to do just that and do something I probably wouldn’t have done otherwise ✨

I’m also really loving seeing other creatives take on this challenge. The joy of art is that everyone’s creation is unique and because of that AI art will never be able to compete with the human-ness that makes art so special 💘
