Sett is a brilliant group to work with, everyone I have spoken with has been so lovely and they are constantly showing how bright their creative community is!

I had the pleasure of taking shots of their FLAWD FOIK event, running down the walk Infront of their procession and seeing all they had to offer.

Can't wait to see what they have in store for the future!

August is always a whirlwind every year and I can't believe it's about to end!

I had the pleasure of taking some photos of the incredible Pretty Knickers Productions at the end of last month and heard their voices belting out parts of "Mary Queen of Rock".

This is a group I have consistently heard good things about both on and off stage and they absolutely lived up to the hype!

(and yes, I even managed to sneak in some slow shutter because I can't help myself)

I had the pleasure of taking photos and videos for the amazing The Phoenix Choir - Edinburgh in Usher Hall.

What a performance! Hearing so many voices on one stage was so powerful and the crowd absolutely loved it.

Capturing the joy on that stage was easy as EVERYONE was grinning the whole time.

Thinking back on our recent family trip to Berlin puts a grin on my face. In the hustle of daily life, taking a break can feel like a distant dream. But we managed to carve out some time for a getaway, and it was totally worth it!

Berlin's mix of history and modern vibes offered something for everyone in my family. From checking out the landmarks to diving into the local scene, we soaked up every bit of it. And let me tell you, seeing my family get excited about exploring a new city was the best part.

Of course, I snapped plenty of photos along the way(I can only avoid my camera so much) – capturing everything from the famous sights to quiet family moments. Looking through them now, it's like reliving the trip all over again – the laughter, the excitement, and the occasional chaos!

Here's to more adventures like this – because let's face it, we don't get to do this enough.

Event Photography

Being able to keep things fresh in my work is something I'm so glad to be able to do. This shoot with Heriot-Watt University allowed me to work with a very different tone from what I've been doing lately.

I love meeting new people and pushing how diverse my shots can be!

Working with Heriot-Watt University again after a while was so refreshing!

The team were meeting for a set of workshops spanning a few days to talk about possible future research on the Sunda Shelf.

I love sitting in on these events and hearing what progress can be made with areas of climate research I've never heard of before.

Shortscape in the dark!

I was wary of taking photos while everyone was very much in the dark but I love the texture in these shots. It's got me quite addicted to attempting more creative effects in camera too!

Shooting live events is so much fun and they keep me on my toes!

Figuring out where is best in each venue to get the shot and showing the personalities of those on stage is a skill I've been developing this year.
