After 9 years of planning, the Rob Roy Way now has a new terminus in Pitlochry's Memorial Garden! The beautifully crafted metalwork arch, bench and information board were officially launched today by First Minister John Swinney 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 With design input from Pitlochry High School (whose janitor even played "Rob Roy" for the day!), this was a true community effort.

Rucksack Readers publisher and Rob Roy Way guidebook author Jacquetta Megarry honoured the memory of the late John Henderson, with whom she originally devised this incredible route back in 2001. After 24 years, the trail's popularity has grown enormously, with thousands of end-to-end completers making the journey through Scotland's stunning landscapes. A proud moment celebrating this beloved walking route! 🌟
