Have you said “yes” lately?

I didn’t do much in the way of nature until a few years ago and somewhere along the way, I learned the power of saying “yes.”

Yes to uncertainty.
Yes to discomfort.
Yes to growth.

Each “yes” has carried me further than I ever imagined, reshaping who I am and revealing parts of myself I might never have met otherwise.

Not everyone is called to climb mountains, but each heart has its own summit to seek. The goals you dream of, whether personal or professional are not as unattainable as they seem, with good preparation and determination, we can reach our goals🙏🏽.

Wild and untamed!

You might recognise this mountain from the film Edie, starring Sheila Hancock, where it’s known as Mount Suilven. Rising 731 metres above the wild Scottish landscape, Suilven isn’t just a mountain, it’s one of the most iconic and breathtaking peaks in Scotland. 🏔️

I'm looking forward to travelling through Scotland over the coming months and exploring it gems.

Kendal Mountain Festival🏔️

A lot has changed since I first attended the Kendal Mountain Festival in 2022. Back then, I went alone, and the lack of representation was glaringly obvious, particularly from Scotland. By 2023, I was determined to make a difference in my own way, so I brought three people along with me. This year, eight of us attended the festival, and I’m excited to see that number grow even more next year.

It was heartening to see representation from diverse backgrounds and to meet people from all walks of life. A massive shoutout to Jacqui Scott and her team at for their incredible work. Thanks to the support of , I was able to bring members of to connect with the wider community, and they had an amazing time.

From the thought-provoking film collections to the inspiring talks, and even the chance to engage with brands to learn how outdoor gear is made, it was truly an eye-opening experience us all.

A huge thank you to my fellow adventurers for making the weekend so memorable, and my heartfelt gratitude to for the invitation. To Jacqui Scott and the entire KMF team, thank you for hosting such a wonderful celebration of the great outdoors. I can’t wait for next year!😊
