Struggling to get outside in this cold? Same here 😅

But The Infinite Explorer with Hannah Fry on gave me the spark I needed again.
From wild stories to mind-blowing facts (like Iceland being less than 20 million years old!?), it’s packed with inspiration.

If you need a boost to get back out there, give it a watch on Mondays at 8pm. Below are some of my favourite easy walks to help you stay connected with the natural world during this cold days.

1️⃣ Roslin Glen & Rosslyn Chapel – If you’re after something relaxed, this one’s perfect. You’ll wander past famous caves, neolithic carvings, the dramatic gorge at Roslin Glen, and even the semi-ruined Rosslyn Castle — all without any steep climbs.

2️⃣ Steall Falls & Nevis Gorge – Steall Falls and the Nevis Gorge, this is a serene 3.5km walk to the second highest waterfall in Scotland. You feel like you’ve been transported back in time while enjoying dramatic scenes of the famous Nevis Gorge

3️⃣ Conic Hill, Balmaha – nestled in Balmaha, the new newly renovated path takes up to one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Loch Lomond and trossachs national park.

4️⃣ Ben A’an – my first hill outside Edinburgh and still one of the best. Ben A’an, a short walk that delivers majestic views of Loch Kathrine and the surrounding peaks.

Honestly I think Scotland I just showing off at this point🤣🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

Since I moved to Scotland, each adventure has surpassed the last. Just when I think I’ve seen it all, Scotland always has a new surprise waiting for me.

I'm looking forward to going back to the Isle of Skye in search of adventure and I can't wait to show you what I get up to😊

Follow along on my Scottish adventures🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏔️💙

If someone had told me a few years ago that I’d be doing this, I would’ve called them a liar❄️💦.

Thankful for growth🙏🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💙

Sometimes I look back at my own Instagram page and can't help but feel grateful. Grateful for how far l've come, and for the privilege of showing what's possible when you say "yes" to the unknown.

I don't know exactly where this journey leads, but I'm genuinely excited for what's ahead.

Thank you for walking this path with me.

Hiking in the colder months isn’t just about strenght it’s about knowledge too🏔️.

Make sure you’re properly equipped before heading into the hills this season. Stay safe and enjoy the adventure. 🏔️

A Quick Checklist⬇️

Here are some key things to consider when planning your adventure as the days get shorter and colder:

• Plan your route and check the mountain
weather and avalanche forecasts before
you go.

• Take appropriate winter clothing,
footwear, and equipment,
including a torch, power bank,
map, compass, and plenty of
food and water.

• Build your confidence and practice
navigation and winter skills on simpler
routes before attempting more
complex and longer days.

• Consider signing up for a winter skills
course.

• Be prepared to alter your plans or turn
back if the weather or conditions change.

• Let someone know where you’re going,
when you expect to return, and what to do
if you don’t come back as planned.

• If you’re lost or injured and can’t get off
the mountain, call 999, ask for the Police,
and then request Mountain Rescue.

If I missed anything, feel free to add them in the comment below.

See you out there and happy trails my friends🥾❄️
