I drink a lot of coffee. If you’re following me you probably drink a lot of coffee. I can’t imagine my life WITHOUT coffee. So after I’ve had my fourth espresso of the hour and the colour maroon starts smelling like a juicy Kenyan, I slip into my chilli rooibos, have a banana, and everything is ok.

On Monday we closed my café. I've been 'managing' this awesome little shop in Peckham and yesterday we closed it. I deep cleaned the bins, scrubbed my jugs to their former glory, purged the hopper (now I have a kilo of espresso on my bench - thanks boss), and scribbled Thank you Peckham, see you on the other side on the window. We need to hold each other up when the sky feels like it’s falling. is a London based organisation that is actively helping people experiencing homelessness, and we are anxious to keep their dream alive so at the end of this sh*t-show, they can continue changing lives!

Change Please is an incredible organisation using coffee to support, train, employ and change the lives of people living with homelessness.

Like so many small businesses right now and so many small business employees, they’re facing a mountain and it is more important than ever to KEEP IT LOCAL!

Change Please will be delivering.... very soon! Plans are afoot at Change Please HQ to deliver you coffee, food and essentials (and your slightly less essentials!) from Monday. This will be available to anyone living a 3 mile radius of our Academy in Peckham. We are doing everything we can to support those isolating and distancing while also continuing to support people experiencing homelessness at this difficult time. Please share widely so we can provide this service to as many people as possible. More information coming tomorrow... 🚚
