I saw a little bit of this yesterday and it made me want to see more! 🐥The Ugly Duckling The Revel Puck Circus and Underbelly

It was a bright and sunny day at the circus when the Ugly Duckling waddled up to their trapeze... Wait. Are we really still using the word 'ugly'? Aren't we rewriting this story to be about belonging and celebrating difference? A reimagining of the classic coming-of-age tale with an acrobatic twist! Bringing together the best of circus and storytelling to produce an energetic and hilarious yet heartwarming family-friendly experience focusing on celebrating difference and finding your tribe.

🐦 Hello Birds is a sensory story show for babies aged 0-36 months and their adults.
Join Bran the gardener and their friend Tor as they search for birds in the Garden. Say hello to Blackbird, Robin, Bluetit and freinds. Help feed them, build soft nests, and join in with their songs. The show uses colour, sound, texture and smell to immerse little ones in the world of birds, using puppets, baby-safe props, singing and key-word signing. "The show is a wonderful way to introduce theatre to babies and toddlers. The actors create a welcoming, calm and joyful environment."

🤩 Lindsey Cole, the adventurer, environmental campaigner, author, speaker and ‘adventure mermaid’, presents her new family show The Mermaid, the Otter and the Big Poo. Tired of the state of our waterways? So is Lindsey - and she needs your help to wave the big poo right outta her home so Otter can return. The show is based on her popular children's book about her 60-kilometre swim adventure down the Bristol Avon with a big poo sculpture, campaigning against sewage pollution. Expect storytelling, songs, dance, games, a splash of audience improv and a whole dump of fun.

With 2025 marking the show’s 10th anniversary, Mark is delighted to be returning to its first home of the Gilded Balloon - this time within the National Museum of Scotland.
