It’s been an absolutely brutal week in the world of nightclubs. 17 iconic venues have closed their doors including 2 very close to my heart.
I was really lucky to have been heavily involved in the realisation of Unit 7 Basildon. Part of the install team, I saw it go from a bare shell to spectacular venue. Then as part of the ents team we stepped Basildon’s nightlife up yet another notch!
And where do I even start about Bar & Beyond King’s Lynn… I absolutely loved this venue! The most amazing team and the most amazing customers. I loved every second working there.
It is absolutely heartbreaking that both of these venues are standing silent this weekend. The friends and memories I made working at them will always be timeless.
