Houston Farm is delighted to be hosting a Side Saddle Demonstration
**24th October 2026, 3pm at Houston Farm Riding School,EH52 6JX , 2 minutes off Junction 3 of M8

Experience the elegance, skill, and timeless tradition of equestrian history with our upcoming side saddle demonstration at Houston Farm Riding School. Tickets are available at £15 for under 14s and £20 for 14 years & over

Further to yesterday’s post about our Zoe and Billy picking up their LIHS ticket….

I know this isn’t a side saddle thing but when an Area 9er picks up her first ever Horse of the Year Show qualification, we’ve got to make a song and dance about it.

Huge Congratulations to Zoe, Billy and mum, Liz!! That early start was well worth it this morning!! A fairly decent weekend really.

News just in from Bellingham 🗞️……..

Area 9’s Zoe and her Dartmoor Pony, Billy have just qualified for the London International Horse Show, riding side saddle in the BSPS Performance Pony.

Many congratulations to Zoe, Billy and of course Mum, Liz!! Have a great time down in the big smoke 😍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Area 9’s Karrie had a great National Side Saddle Show but she did have two ponies to play with.

First up was Reagan, who produced the performance of a lifetime to win the Open Novice Dressage🥇 Karrie could have happily retired after that result but Super Cob, Kevin had other ideas and pulled off an incredible string of results including a win on his side saddle jumping debut…..
