‘Between the Tracks’ is a two hour programme presented by Bionic Bob, here on 242 Radio on Saturdays at 3pm, Sundays from 12 Noon, Tuesdays at 3am and Thursdays at 8pm.
The current edition of the show has: Mixtie-Maxtie Music, mainly from 1969 & 1976; “Facts Between the Tracks” devised and presented by Louise & Charles and a question concerning Van Morrison; Overseas Interlude from France with a song about England’s Isle of Wight Festival; Train Track from the Clash; Motown Monsters from The Miracles and Diana Ross; Archive Advert for a chocolate bar; Fifties Fling with Edd Byrnes and Michael Medwin/Bernard Bresslaw/Alfie Bass & Lesley Fyson; NME Top 10 published on 7th August 1976 and we’ll be playing out with a song which was given a helping hand to climb the American Billboard chart in the same week.
So… we’re all ready to go-go with the tremendous 242 Radio!
