This is Anti-Zine #2 and the theme is CIRCUS. We want you to send us your prose, poems, memories, artwork, ephemera, postcards, imagined memoirs, sketches, drawings, plans, things you would never see in a circus, and all things in-between. Did you ever want to run away with the circus? Would you have been:
Lackey
Roustabout
Fake fortune-teller
Ground-level tightrope walker
Bearded lady
The best
acrobat in the world? Is your imaginary circus peopled by:
Monkeys that do arithmetic
Aerialists with wings
Dwarves and giants
Escape artists and other acts of treachery
Frayed safety nets and doomed love affairs
Elephant tamers, tigers tamed by elephants
Hoodwinks and balancing acts
Amazing feats of memory? Do you remember the first time you went to the circus? More Details:
* You may submit up to 4 poems (40 lines maximum) or 2 pieces of short prose (1000 words max each).
* Take photographs, draw things, write songs etc.
* Preference given to local writers but others also considered. How to Submit:

Our zine will be a work of BEAUTY and chosen contributors will receive a free copy. We will CELEBRATE with a circus themed launch party in September, at a venue in central Edinburgh. Free entry to all who submit! It will be the talk of the town.
