🟠 Amber Weather Warning 🟠

Storm Amy has been upgraded to Amber in North and West Scotland. From 5pm today, wind is forecast to reach 60-70mph and may exceed 95mph in more exposed and coastal areas.

Travellers have been warned of disruption across Scotland later as Storm Amy is set to hit parts of the country with winds of up to 95mph.

An amber warning, external has been issued for large parts of north and west Scotland from 17:00 to 09:00 on Saturday.

Several ScotRail services and ferry journeys have been cancelled ahead of the storm's arrival.
