The Edinburgh Floral Clock in all its glory 🌸🌻 Have you seen it yet?

This year the world famous clock is celebrating 200 years of braille, the tactile code that enables blind and partially sighted people to read by touch, and RNIB Scotland.

Outlander fans... You'll love this new arrival Culross Palace 🤩🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A dress worn by the character Geillis Duncan in the first series of hit TV show is going on display at Culross Palace...

Fans of the series will recognise Culross as the fictional village of Cranesmuir.

The character Geillis, played by Lotte Verbeek, wore the dress made of felted wool bodice and a heavy wool weave skirt.

A mountain rescue volunteer has won a £10,000 prize for his image of a landslide at the Rest and Be Thankful... 📸🏆

Mick McGraw won the Lapeca Scottish Landscape Awards 2025 for the piece, titled ‘Glen Croe landslide, August 31, 2020’.

The snap was taken from the slopes of Ben Donich, looking over the Rest and Be Thankful on the A83.

As a member of Arrochar Mountain Rescue Team, artist Mick McGraw knows this landscape well.

Some lovely news... ⛪👏

The 200-year-old Campsie High Kirk Church, which was previously destroyed in a fire, is set to become a community arts centre.

The church lay empty and without an owner for years after a fire in 1984 but Friends of Campsie High Kirk acquired the building for just £1 earlier this year.

Insh Island, one of Scotland’s last untouched private islands has gone on the market – for just £500,000.

The island is only accessible by private boat or helicopter, located near Easdale, the smallest inhabited island in Scotland and host of the World Stone Skimming Championship.

They secured the Slanj brand name nearly ten years ago and have waited patiently for the right blend.
