Airbnb host: Breakfast included! Authentic Italian! Very Delicious!’ Buonissimo, proprio saporito! as emphasised.

Set my alarm like I was catching a flight, just to be up early for the ‘amazing Italian breakfast’ as the Airbnb host mentioned.

Me: Skipped half my dinner the night before to make room for this glorious feast so I can fully enjoy the ‘authentic Italian breakfast.

My stomach was ready.

Also me: Gets out of bed very early and happy thinking about the food…. then stomach already celebrating.
I arrived starving, eyes sparkling with anticipation…

And there it was: 1 sad pastry staring back at me like oh yeah hi…
The Portion size: designed for a fashion doll.

My Mood: “betrayed but still hungry.”

What he didn’t say that it was a portion fit for a hamster on a diet.
I woke up very early for this. I ate less dinner for this. My stomach filed a formal complaint.”

Started as a simple walking tour quickly escalated into a 7-hour endurance mission. My feet are now decorated with blisters, my lower limbs are screaming for mercy but I guess that’s the price you pay for chasing history and views on foot. Silver lining? Probably shed a few pounds along the way — fitness and sightseeing in one.

I wasn’t expecting this – Never thought an octopus sandwich could be this good. But this one? It’s the king, pure, fresh, and savory. The yummiest sandwich ever. Puglia’s octopus panino is smoky, tender, and bursting with flavor. Every bite tastes like the sea, tradition, caught from Adreatic sea and pure Mediterranean magic. Out of all the sandwiches I’ve tried, this one wears the crown.
