🦄❄️Edinburgh dropped to –1°C last night, so the Highlands ended up looking totally snow-covered this morning. As soon as the plane took off, the whole view turned into white mountains and frosty fields. Honestly feels like Scotland was showing off a bit. Such a nice way to start the flight — just snowy Highlands all the way out before heading south of Europe.

🦄 Taken from Calton Hill, this view shows Edinburgh looking its absolute best. And it never falls behind in beauty. The city is glowing in the warm light, the rooftops stretch out like a painting, and everything looks calm from up here. This monument is a magnificent example of Baroque architecture, built to symbolize protection and gratitude. The richly carved base features figures representing faith and hope, while the tall column is crowned with a statue of a saint watching over the city. Once erected as a sign of victory over plague and hardship, it remains a timeless landmark of resilience and devotion.
