Not sure why, but I do enjoy a metal staircase on the outside of a building.

As I Wander around Edinburgh showing visitors our city, I’ve loved spotting these staircases and fire escapes recently. They always give me New York City vibes.

There’s so much you notice when you cut through the closes and side streets. New angles, new shortcuts and new details hiding in plain sight.

I’m sure there are plenty more out there waiting to be found.
