I want to share something with you all something that's been years in the making.

My song "I Wanna Tell You" just crossed 100,000 streams. And to mark the moment, I sat down (virtually) with the producer behind it Fusa, based in Uganda to reflect on everything.

We started this journey somewhere around 2017. Two guys from different countries, exchanging files, building something without ever being in the same room. No label. No big budget. Just a shared belief that the music was worth it.

During our conversation, Fusa said something that I keep thinking about: he told me I was the first artist he produced for outside of his local area. His first leap beyond what he knew and it was with me.

That kind of trust doesn't come easy. And 100,000 streams later, I'm grateful for every step of this rollercoaster.

My boy called my relationship boring.

I said peace looks boring online.

Loud love gets heavy fast. Drama brings damage. The real thing is quiet. Consistent. Still chosen when there are no cameras and no crowd.

Grey Skies is out now. If you know what real love actually feels like, this one is for you. Link in the comments 👇🏾

My boy told me I settled.

I didn't argue. I just thought about the last time life hit hard. When everything felt heavy and the skies went grey and she was still there. Not because she had to be. Because she chose to be.

That's not settling. That's finding someone real.

Grey Skies is out now. This one will hit different if you know, you know. Link in the comments 👇

Love fading makes people panic.

Not because feelings changed because most of us were taught feelings were the proof.

So when the butterflies disappear, people start questioning everything.

But excitement was never designed to carry a whole relationship.

Real love starts getting tested after the rush settles down.

Because eventually everybody reaches the point where feelings become quieter.

The question becomes: who still chooses who?

Have you ever confused excitement with love?

some days i wake up feeling defeated.

some mornings, i don't even feel like getting out of bed. i look at everything that isn't working, the prayers i’m still waiting on, the goals that feel far away, the doors that haven’t opened yet.

and if i'm being real, as humans we do this a lot. we focus on what’s missing.

but then i stop...

and i remember where God brought me from.

i remember the days i prayed for things i now have. i remember moments i thought i wouldn't survive. i remember how many times God made a way when i couldn't see one.

then gratitude hits me.

because the truth is, while we’re busy complaining about what we don’t have, somebody out there is looking at our life and praying for the things we already have.

so wake up. breathe. be grateful.

you've come further than you think.

and today, i just want to say thank you. truly.

20,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

20,000 people choosing to listen, support, stay, and believe in this journey.

that number isn't just data to me. there are real people behind it.

thank you for growing with me. thank you for believing in me. thank you for being part of this journey.

BeOfficial Club, i don't take it for granted ❤️

Toxic relationship patterns can trick you into believing intensity equals love.

Then someone peaceful enters your life and suddenly your mind starts looking for problems.

Not because peace is wrong. Because chaos trained your body to expect constant emotional emergencies.

A lot of people don't miss their ex. They miss the feeling of being needed, chased, rescued, or pulled back in.

Maybe healing isn't learning how to love harder.

Maybe it's learning how to sit still long enough to let peace feel normal.

What's something you realized after leaving a difficult relationship?

Relationship comparison can make you feel like everyone else figured it out except you.

But most of us are watching people after the storm and assuming they never had one.

We see smiles, vacations, anniversary posts, and perfect timing. We don't see the hard conversations, the nights they almost quit, or the moments staying felt heavier than leaving.

Maybe real love isn't about finding people with no grey skies. Maybe it's finding someone who keeps showing up inside them.

What's something relationships taught you that social media never could?
