We are back in the office today and it was quite a shock not having yule log for breakfast and wearing anything other than comfies 😳

You might not recognise him in these photos (we'd be worried if you did) but Ben ran a 10k yesterday in this luxurious Santa suit, all in aid of raising money for the Aldingbourne Country Centre 🎅🏃‍♂️

Alongside 200 people, including other members of the Chichester Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ben took part in the Santa Fun Run around the Goodwood Motor Circuit and was glad to make it round in one highly flammable piece.

A brilliant event to raise awareness and money for The Aldingbourne Trust - a charity that provides opportunities for adults with learning disabilities or autism to live meaningful and fulfilled lives and to positively contribute to their communities.

Earlier this year we worked with the Wokingham team on a Communities Vision project for the next 10 years crafted by the voices of local people. We interviewed residents and organisations about their hopes and ambitions for the borough.

We are always keen to sponsor awards that relate to mental health as it's important to us as a team and something we prioritise at Millstream, so we were honoured to sponsor an award at the Portsmouth Men's Awards 2025 last Friday.

The awards shine a light on positive male role models, community impact, and men's mental health.

Hosted at the The Mary Rose, Ben had the privilege of handing out the Mental Health and Wellbeing Award to the deserving Matt Wilkie, CEO of The INS Group.

Through his work in the telecommunications industry and his podcast, The Voice, Matt is breaking down barriers, opening conversations about mental health, and showing others that vulnerability is strength. Something we should all strive to do.

The event, organised by Dadzclub and The Parenting Network, brought together champions of Portsmouth who actively support their communities, their families and their businesses.

We heard from guest speaker Ashley Cain, former professional footballer and reality TV personality, who has become a beacon of resilience and positive fatherhood, turning personal tragedy into purpose through advocacy and charity work.

A truly inspiring event 💫

Fearless PR x Frankie & Benny's x Millstream Productions 🎬

We've been partnering with Fearless PR for a while now and we were rather excited for this collaboration with media personality, dancer and singer, Ashley Roberts.

Fearless PR consistently craft campaigns that are perfectly on-brand and impossible to ignore. This time, their client was Frankie & Benny’s: a chain of Italian-American-themed restaurants located around the UK.

Ashley Roberts teamed up with Frankie & Benny's to celebrate their New York Italian menu where big portions, bold flavours and fresh food is guaranteed. They wanted Ashley’s take on the new American dishes on their menu so we captured Ashley talking about her favourite dishes and tasting the delicious food.

We delivered five videos for Fearless PR which were picked up by national media outlets and shared on Frankie & Benny’s social media pages. The videos have since received 20k views on Instagram alone.

Behind the scenes with Portsmouth Museum & Art Gallery (Portsmouth City Council).

October was Black History Month and to mark the annual celebration, we partnered with Portsmouth Museum and Art Gallery to create two films.

The first featured interviews with Marie Costa and Honorine Djenaba-MacDonald, both of whom have spent their lives advocating for others and representing communities experiencing racial discrimination.

For the second film, in order to help Marie and Honorine pass the baton to a younger generation, we invited people of black heritage to a forum where they discussed some of the similarities and differences they’ve experienced and explored what it is like to live in Portsmouth today.

Here’s some behind the scenes of the filming project. We were honoured to be a part of this project and to help tell their stories through this film.

The films can be viewed at Portsmouth Museum and Art Gallery until February 2025.
