Sound Gallery Studios, recording studios and rehearsal studios situated at Exeter Phoenix in the cultural heart of Exeter.

Sound Gallery Studios have gained their reputation as one of the most productive and well equipped recording studios in Devon boasting in its client list a wide range of local, national and internationally acclaimed musicians and artists, including the likes of Joss Stone, Raphael Ravenscroft (Gerry Rafferty/Pink Floyd), Steve Howe (YES), Slowdive as well as voiceover talents and actors (Rik Mayall, Andrew Lincoln, Matt Berry), TV, Radio, Film, Record labels and Publishers (BBC, Fox Searchlight, Stone’d Records).

Our Mission
Sound Gallery is dedicated to the development of original creative works produced by talented musicians and to the provision of music-making and training opportunities, especially for young people aged 12-25 years who are at risk of exclusion and at risk of social and rural isolation and especially those with mental health issues and special educational needs.
Our Theory of Change
We provide music-making and training opportunities for young people who live in challenging circumstances, which aim to build up their confidence and improve their life skills. This increases their employability and opportunities to reach their full potential in life.
