There’s a lot of maintenance that happens behind the scenes to keep Tazma Studios running the way it does. We’re constantly swapping out damaged drum skins, checking all the leads, fixing or replacing amps, and going through every room each week to make sure everything is ready for whoever walks in next. 💪🏻
This week was no exception. A customer let us know the Hayden amp in the LZ studio was sounding a bit off, so we pulled it straight out and took it over to Steve’s Amps. It’s always easy to end up staying longer than planned there. Steve knows his craft inside out, probably one of the best valve amp specialists in the country. It’s always a pleasure to visit his workshop and have a chat. He also rehearsed in Tazma with his band at the very beginning of 2018. 🎸
We also have to mention Darren from RetroAmps, who has saved many of our amps over the years. He takes every job seriously and always goes the extra mile, carrying out extended testing after each repair. Darren is not only highly professional with a huge amount of experience, he is also a musician and rides a Harley-Davidson. His workshop even looks cooler than Tom’s flat. 🤘🏻
Neither Steve nor Darren needs social media to get more work, but we’ve put links to their websites in the comments below. If you contact them, please mention that the guys from Tazma Studios recommended them, we’ll appreciate it a lot. 🙏🏻❤️
We do our best to keep all the equipment in Tazma 100% working and regularly serviced. Please keep in mind that things do break, we can’t predict it, especially with around 35 bands on average visiting us each week. That’s a heavy load for all our equipment. 🎛️
So we want to thank you for letting us know as soon as you spot something that doesn’t seem right in the rooms. The sooner we know, the sooner we can get it sorted. You can call us anytime on the Tazma number, which is on the wall next to the door in every studio, or message us on Facebook or Instagram, or email. We will always update you once the issue is fixed. 🪛
