They captured what many believe is definitive proof – an iconic, chilling photograph of the ghost herself.

Dive into the tragic history of Lady Dorothy Walpole, imprisoned within these very walls by her husband, Charles Townshend, 2nd Viscount Townshend, after her infidelity was discovered. She died in 1726, but her spirit is said to be forever bound to that grand staircase.
