Well it was a good run!

Shire Knights have decided to call it a day as a competitive 40k team. We still have plenty of our (now former) team playing at events, with players moving on to regular WTC events with Team Scotland, playing at GT's and playing other games as well. Most will start to play at singles events representing Forth Valley Wargamers, our base club since we started. Some will play at events representing other local clubs to them.

Thanks to all our opponents in games, the TO's that organised tournaments and to those that joined up, for the good times and epic games.

We've all made some fantastic friends throughout our time as Shire Knights and made some great memories.

40k seems to be in an odd place right now....WTC, individual tournaments, lots of codex but also lots still in index......a strange feeling of something impending...... something green......

Well would you look at that! Who would have thought that only a couple of years ago The Shire Knights was a 4 man band of bro's that liked to roll some dice 🎲, none in Team Scotland, and now we have 6 out of a very strong 10 man squad in Team Scotland 👏.

A huge congratulations to all of the 2023/2024 National WTC Team the rest of the Knights are cheering you on!

Growing a 40k playing group is a challenge... but it's worth it!

Wonder if we can get someone or more than 1...to the Singles World Championship in 2024???

Well isn't this a pretty picture! Congrats to all the Shire Knights after a great season, 6 of the top 10 in the Team Scotland rankings being Shire Knights!

Rybo took 2nd (fantastic!), Conar 6th, Nick 7th, Mark 8th, Allan 9th and Ryan 10th.
