Last week, we hosted a coffee morning to celebrate our wonderful volunteers, who were presented with Celebrating Volunteering certificates produced by CVS Falkirk ☕❤️

A big thank you to our Chair, Czesława, and our Secretary, Alisa, for helping us recognise the incredible contribution our volunteers make to our organisation and the wider community.

Although a few volunteers were unable to attend due to work or college commitments, we will make sure they receive their certificates soon.

We are incredibly grateful to all our volunteers and committee members for their dedication, skills, and passion. You are the heart of our organisation! ❤️

Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a serious crash in Falkirk.

Around 1pm on Thursday, 4 June, 2026, we received a report of a crash involving a pedestrian and a black Audi TT on Kerse Lane.

Emergency services attended, and the pedestrian, a 62-year-old woman, was taken to hospital for treatment.

No other injuries were reported.

Inspector David Marr said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances, and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash and has yet to speak to officers to get in touch.

“I’d also ask that anyone in the area who has dash-cam footage review this to see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1466 of 4 June, 2026.
