Asahi Kasei, Mitsui Chemicals Group, and Mitsubishi Chemical Group have established a limited liability partnership (LLP) to achieve carbon neutrality and production capacity optimisation targeting 2030 with respect to the two ethylene manufacturing facilities in total owned by the three companies in western Japan, and will accelerate relevant studies. 🗾

Baker Hughes has announced a long-term service agreement award from bp for its Tangguh LNG plant in Papua Barat, Indonesia. 🇮🇩

This comprehensive 90-month agreement covers spare parts, repair services, and field service engineering support for critical turbomachinery at the facility including heavy-duty gas turbines, steam turbines, and compressors for three LNG trains, helping to ensure its continued reliable operation. 🚢

Trafigura, one of the largest suppliers in the commodities industry, has signed a long-term agreement to supply LNG to Korea Gas Corp. (KOGAS), the Republic of Korea’s national gas company and one of the world’s largest importers of LNG. 🇰🇷

This agreement expects substantial volumes of LNG to be delivered to KOGAS over the next decade. The pricing index will be Henry Hub, the US natural gas benchmark.
